Eye Medication

DRUG COMPANY DROPS SALES
OF IMPORTANT EYE MEDICATION

My son Jon has been suffering glaucoma for about five years. Just when we found a medication that worked, Wyeth-Ayerst ceased production. Thus far we have been unable to find a replacement for phospholine iodide. My son who is only seven has had an increase in eye pressure. Wyeth Ayerst cited low sales as the reason to cease production. They never asked for a price increase nor did they warn the pediatric-opthalmologist who was treating Jon. My local pharmacist was caught unaware of the change. Other companies have told me that it would it take would take years to assist us. We don’t have that kind of time. It has already 9 weeks of too high IOP. Please help.
